Wind Ensemble
The schools premier wind group was reformed in 2003. They performed with the Band of Her Majesties Royal Marines in December 2003 and then took part in the National BASBWE festival in 2004 and were awarded a Silver award. It features a full range of symphonic wind, Brass and percussion, including E Flat and Bass Clarinets.

Foundation Jazz
An ensemble especially run to introduce the schools musicians to playing in a jazz style. Focusing on ensemble and improvisational techniques.

Jazz Ensemble
The schools main Jazz group. Features a full traditional big band line-up plus occasional vocalists. Have in the past been winners of the Daily Telegraph National Schools Big band award. Perform in various school concerts, but especially at the annual Jazz Evening which is usually held in March.
