teaching to be carried out at a very high standard.

small room downstairs

Three rooms including the multi-purpose one (with
percussion equipment including 4 pedal timps and vibes).

office, music store and instrument store.
£1,000,000 new developments
in the school, inlcuding a new school library,
another music
room, and a new recording
studio. Work is currently
in progress, and these developments will improve
the facilities further. |
Current
Music Technology Facilities We
have a Mackie 24 Track 8 Buss mixing desk with a Mackie
SDR 24/96 digital hard disk recorder and a wide selection
of Dynamic and Condensor Mics including a 7 piece
specialist drum mic set, several effects units and
several compressors and Noise Gates.
All of this brand new equipment was bought to enable
us to offer the A2 Edexcel Music Technology course.
We run Cakewalk sequencing software throughout the
department which includes Music Creator and Sonar.
We also run Coda notation software (Notepad 2004,
Printmusic, and Finale 2004.) We also have FL Studio
for dance music sequencing.
